I am an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in product development for the web, desktops, and portable devices. Specifically, I am very knowledgeable in all versions of Java ranging from 1.1 to 6, with over a dozen years of experience. I have specific knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Struts, JSP, CSS, Javascript, J2EE, and am familiar with creating accessible sites which comply with WCAG 2.0 and Section 508. I've spent the last year developing social network applications for Involver Inc using Ruby on Rails, and interfacing with companies such as Facebook, Bazaarvoice, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and others.
I also have experience with iPhone, iPad, and Macintosh Objective-C development, Qt and Qt-Jambi, and the Watir testing framework.
I have exceptional design skills, specifically related to Object-Oriented structures and the patterns which are used to solve common design issues.
I have over 4 years of experience as a team lead, and enjoy mentoring less experienced developers, as well as laying out plans for the successful completion of risky projects.
